Is that rail still alive?
On 17 August 2026 Coinbase quietly stopped accepting USDC on the Noble network — and called funds sent on it after the cutoff “not recoverable”. No checksum was wrong, no variant was confused: the receiving platform just stopped supporting the rail. Rail Watch tracks which networks each major exchange still accepts, and keeps a dated log of the sunsets. Send on a rail both ends still support.
Current support matrix
Checked 19 August 2026 (UTC). “Other” lists networks beyond the tracked set. Regional restrictions (Travel Rule) are marked per row — a rail that exists globally may not exist for you.

Kraken ◐: two versions of USDC live on Arbitrum, Optimism and Polygon — bridged USDC.e and Circle-native USDC. Same address string, different token. The Resolver tells you which one you're holding. Gemini1: EU/EEA/UK/Singapore clients can withdraw USDC on Ethereum only (Travel Rule).

OKX3: official help (updated 05 Aug 2026) states USDT on BSC is not supported for deposits. Gemini4: USDT not available to New York or EU/EEA clients. Coinbase USDT fee model is pass-through gas (no flat fee) — costs scale with Ethereum congestion.

DAI is fading: Binance suspended DAI in April 2026 and swapped it 1:1 to USDS (Sky); Coinbase keeps only Ethereum. If a platform offers you “DAI on BSC”, that rail may already be legacy — verify before sending. 5 Binance announcement, 04-07-2026.

EURC stays Ethereum-only almost everywhere — the euro rail is thin. If you need EURC off Ethereum, self-custody is the honest answer today.

- 2026-08-30 · Coinbase × Circle (re-check) Day 13: primary sources re-fetched (both direct). Coinbase's incident 4m42p58xrg1h is still “Resolved” (posted Aug 19), the “not recoverable” wording is unchanged, and no rescue route has been published. Circle's Noble guide is unchanged: still the generic “digital asset exchanges” line, Coinbase not named, same three wallets listed (Cosmostation, Keplr, Leap). New: USDC on Noble is now $111.95M (as of Aug 30, from Circle's own live supply feed) — down from $112.54M on Aug 29, roughly $600K out in 24 hours on a pool where one major exit has already happened. Two-provider news sweep found no Noble-specific loss or rescue report: still zero documented user losses. source: status.coinbase.com/incidents/4m42p58xrg1h + circle.com/multi-chain-usdc/noble + api.circle.com/v1/stablecoins (all re-fetched 08-30), news search 08-30

New number: Circle's own page now publishes total USDC supply on Noble at $112.54M (as of Aug 29) — the standing pool at risk if another large platform follows Coinbase's lead. - 2026-08-28 · Coinbase × Circle (re-check) Day 11: primary sources re-fetched (both direct, no mirrors). Coinbase's incident 4m42p58xrg1h is still “Resolved” (posted Aug 19), the “not recoverable” wording is unchanged, and no rescue route has been published. Circle's Noble guide is unchanged: still the generic “digital asset exchanges” line, Coinbase not named, wallets listed are the same three (Cosmostation, Keplr, Leap). Coinbase's incident 4m42p58xrg1h is still “Resolved” (posted Aug 19), the “not recoverable” wording is unchanged, and no rescue route has been published. Circle's Noble guide is unchanged — still the generic “digital asset exchanges” line, Coinbase not named. - 2026-08-26 · Coinbase × Circle (re-check) Day 9: Coinbase's incident is still marked “Resolved” with the same wording — funds sent on Noble after the cutoff are “not recoverable”, and no rescue route (bridge or swap to a supported network) has been published. Still zero documented user losses. New: Circle has quietly edited its Noble guide — it no longer names Coinbase explicitly (it did as of Aug 18) and now points to generic “digital asset exchanges” with no specific custodial route listed. The funnel is softer, but still open: it doesn't tell a user which exchange actually still accepts Noble deposits. source: status.coinbase.com incident (re-fetched 08-26), circle.com/multi-chain-usdc/noble + usdc.com guide (re-fetched 08-26), news search 08-25/26
- 2026-08-25 · Coinbase × Circle (audit) Day 8 after the Noble USDC sunset: still zero documented user losses — Coinbase's warning was a risk notice, not an incident report, and the on-network float is only ~$21M. The open funnel: Circle's own Noble USDC guide kept pointing users to buy on Coinbase the day after the cutoff. Also new: Noble USDC has a second sunset clock — it stays on legacy CCTP V1 while Circle phases that out over ~10 months from July 2026. source: cryptoslate.com (via coinsbit.io, 08-18/19), third-party Noble snapshot 08-18, cryptonews.net

How to read this / sources
- Official pages (highest confidence): Kraken stablecoins article (updated 02-06-2026); Gemini networks article; Coinbase status page + wallet networks.
- Vendor announcements: Binance USDC-on-Base / Starknet / World Chain integration notices (binance.com/support/announcement); Binance DAI→USDS swap notices.
- Secondary (marked in rows): USDC.org exchange directory, bitzo.com withdrawal-fee guides (May 2026), cexorer/withdrawfees live fee feeds. These lag official pages — a “?” means we haven't confirmed it against the platform itself yet.
- Method: one row per platform × token. A rail is marked ● only if the platform's own page (or its own status/announcement) lists it as of the check date; ◐ when the rail exists with a catch (dual USDC variants, deposit-only, legacy-token swap); – when it's explicitly unsupported or sunset; ? when we haven't verified. Every ? is work, not an answer.
